Two members of the party have a conversation on the eve of battle.

Choices

1. "Of course I'm tense. Moments before a battle, I get all squeezed up inside."

Outcome Both gain a temporary +1 increase to armor and warding for the duration of the battle.

2. "I just can't wait to get my hands on these murderous devils. Come on."

Outcome Both gain a temporary +1 increase to damage and potency for the duration of the battle.

Trivia

This version of the event was retired and rewritten in Patch 1.14 Elona Rib. The current version can be seen here When We Fight.

The exact dialogue relating to the two choices varies depending on the personality of the protagonist. There's possibility of third person appearing as one of the hero's ship/lover. If third person does appear and second choice is chosen, The reputation between the hero and the ship/lover increases slightly.
