A hero starts thinking about having a family and how dangerous the world is. They decide to follow the legend of Havenbeams - magical trees whose wood repels the flames - in order to create a fire-proof house.
Choices
1. "You've got a great questing-ear!"
- 1.1 Don't cut the trees.
Outcome A group of Drauven attacks the grove. The heroes fight. After the fight, they leave the grove and find a little altar with a gift from the spirit: Will of the Forest (Tier 3 Leaf Greatspear; passive: +3 Potency; if the target of the attack is killed, a tree grows).
- 1.2 Cut one tree down..
Outcome The heroes are attacked by a Forest Guardian.
2. [Name's] planning a feast. Maybe after that?
Outcome Dismiss the opportunity.

This event targets a hero with the loyal hook.
A hero who chooses option 1 will receive the following text in their history:
He journeyed to a sacred wood to fell a havenbeam tree, but instead was called to defend it. He left the trees unharmed, and the spirits of that place granted him a mighty gift in recognition.
A hero who chooses option 2 will receive the following text in their history:
She journeyed to a sacred wood and felled a single havenbeam tree. The home she'll build with its timbers will be a warded and weatherblessed place.
