The party encounter some Thrixl manipulation.
Choices
1. "It's a logic puzzle. If I look carefully I'll see it isn't real.
Outcome Success: Begin the combat with +10 accuracy and +1 potency.
Failure: Hero remains in a trance and doesn't show up until turn 4 in the ensuing battle.
2. "[Name] is the path that will lead me home."
Outcome Success: The two heroes' relationship deepens.
Failure: Hero remains in a trance and doesn't show up until turn 2 in the ensuing battle.
3. "I know the natural world too intimately to be fooled."
Outcome Hero snaps out of the trance. Begin the encounter.
4. "...This is not your fate."
Outcome Hero snaps out of the trance. Begin the encounter.
Trivia
Option 3 appears if the hero has the Wildheart hook. Option 4 appears if the hero has the Destiny hook.
