Two heroes set up a campfire and discuss the legend of the bear.

Choices

1. So <Hero> holds vigil over camp.

Outcome Gain 1 Legacy Point and 1d2+1 Spellthreads

2. <Hero> is called to follow.

Outcome The hero finds a hillpainter who asks the hero to defeat a bear.

2.1 So <Hero> turns away.

Outcome Gain the Cloak of the Hillpainters.

2.2 <Hero> goes to battle the bear

Outcome Upon Victory, the hero becomes beartouched. Upon defeat, the hero dies.

Trivia

This event cannot target a hero with the Inhabited hook or who is The Toughlipped Kid during All the Bones of Summer (the Kid is eligible in subsequent campaigns).
