| [Two young warriors at a festival compete to win the artifact staff Oakenbrand. An old warrior stages a battle against Thuvayn, a strong Drauv that he raised from infancy to speak human language. A Drauven raiding party attacks the festival, causing Thuvayn to slay the warrior and then escape. The mystic suspects the involvement of a Drauven warlord named Drevsnac. The heroes must track down the Drauven attacks across multiple map tiles, and eventually they catch up with Thuvayn. Thuvayn rashly reveals that the warlord Drevsnac is dead, and the heroes are forced to flee as the Drauven army attacks them.]
