Choices

1. "Reminds me of... Can I still remember the story?"

ExpandOutcome Success: Hero gains the permanent Starheart augment. Begin combat with Fortitude (All party members gain +2 temp health).
Fail: Begin combat with Fortitude (All party members gain +2 temp health).

2. "Is this your sign? My guardian, my guides..."

ExpandOutcome Success: Hero gains +0.3 to +0.6 armor or warding (for this campaign). Begin combat with Stoicism (all party members gain +1 armor and +1 warding).
Fail: Begin combat with Stoicism (all party members gain +1 armor and +1 warding).

3. "Maybe I do wonder...does he see something I don't?"

ExpandOutcome Success: increase retirement age or health (for this campaign). Begin combat with Insight (double the stunt chance for all party members).
Fail: Begin combat with Insight (double the stunt chance for all party members).

Trivia

All three options are based off Charisma checks.

110 - (Charisma +d100) = chance of failure.

Starheart adds +20 charisma and have 30% to blind enemies when hit.

The so-called “bookish” role actually involves summing 4 non-bookish personality stats.
