The heroes seek shelter from rain in a cave and the entrance gets blocked in.
Choices
1. Clear out the entrance and move on.
Outcome Leave the cave.
2. Follow the chilly passage.
Outcome You meet Winterlock. 1. [Hero] reacts with force.
Outcome Success: [Hero] +0.5 Bonus Damage (This Campaign). You find Ice Shield (warding +1, freezes on block). Failure:

3. Take the ancient stairs.
Outcome [Hero] leaves cave with a book. [Hero] +0.5 Potency (This Campaign) and a Wound (one party member loses half hit points to start combat) for the upcoming battle. You find Thnarrs Accordica (artifact, increases max interfusions by 1 and allows non-mystics to interfuse). Begin combat with Stealth (all party members begin combat in Greyplane).
