Choices
1. "When we go forward, let's not get spotted"
Outcome Start the battle with Stealth(all heroes begin combat in greyplane) and Disorder(walling provides no armor this combat)
2. "Or let's not get killed."
Outcome Start the battle with Stoicism(all party members gain +1 armor and +1 warding). Dismay(all foes gain +1 hitpoint to start the mission)
3. "Rush them, Maybe?"
Outcome Gain Courage (all party members gain +2 damage/potency for 3 turns) and Haste (all party members have +1 speed for the duration of combat).
4. "we're all down here why not rush them down?"
Outcome Gain Courage (all party members gain +2 damage/potency for 3 turns) and Haste (all party members have +1 speed for the duration of combat), but only three heroes immediately join the battle ready to fight; the other heroes in a party of four or five begin the combat stunned for two turns.
After the battle, your party makes a decision about adopting a recently orphaned Hago cub.
1. The hero attempts to adopt the Hago cub.
Outcome Success: The hero takes one damage and temporarily gains a pet Hago Cub that stays with the Hero until the end of the chapter. The following is added to the hero's history: Coming upon a Hago cub orphaned beside the body of its mother, <Hero> coaxed the thing into her care and keeping. The bond they formed that day would last a long while, changing over the years from one's watchful stewardship, to a comfortable friendship that they shared.
Failure: The hero takes three damage and gains +15 Charisma. The following is added to the hero's history: Coming upon a Hago cub orphaned beside the body of its mothed, <Hero> attempted to befriend the thing... only to receive a nasty bite and a little barking reprimand! They watched it run off into the wild.
2. "Said Shrine is on the Map. A motherless cub would belong there."
Outcome Gain the augment Torc of the Wildkeeper
3. "Simple rule isn't it? Wild things belong in the wild."
Outcome Gain 2 Legacy Points.
