Archery is a passive Hunter ability that allows the Hunter to counter-attack ranged attacks.

(Passive) Hero counters all ranged attacks against him/her.

Specifics

A Hunter with Archery will counter all ranged attacks against them, provided they themselves are equipped with a ranged weapon. Archery will not trigger if the Hunter takes mortal damage from an attack. It will also not trigger against any adjacent attacks, even if those attacks have a potential range of more than 1.

Uses

While Hunters usually avoid front-line combat, a Hunter with Archery and high defensive stats can be a powerful counter to an onslaught of ranged attackers.
