A hero wants to leave the party in search of inspiration. If the player chooses to follow the opportunity they can select a third person to join the party.
In the second part of the story, after arriving at the site, they hear the sounds of (potential) monsters.
Choices
1. "Well, there's been some run-ins out here. Stick by the fire. Maybe it's nothing."
Outcome Battle.
2. "Only a fool waits in the open for lightning to strike..."
Outcome Roll. Success: They leave the fire and spot the enemy entering their camp. Failure: They return to the camp to find it looted. Start the battle with a temporary speed penalty of -1 speed.
Trivia
This two-part event is a good example of dialogue varying greatly depending on the personality of the protagonist.
