The heroes find a giant egg and discuss what to do with it. Meanwhile, the mother is coming closer and she is not happy about the intruders.
Choices
1. "Come on let it be." " Let's head down."
Outcome The party leaves without touching the egg. After encountering the mother at a close distance, the party finds an Eaglefeather Talisman.
2. "These are valuable, you know? Whether they hatch or not..."
Outcome Success: The hero captures the egg and the encounter begins with Fortitude (All party members gain +2 temp health). The following line is added to the hero's history: They swiped the egg of a Crag Eagle from its towering nest. The bird would hatch and grow to become a half-wild ally, bringing treasures sometimes from distant lands. Eventually, it stopped returning.
Fail:The egg breaks and the hero gets -20 Goofball. The hero starts the next battle with Wound (one party member loses half hit points to start combat).
Trivia
If the hero captures the egg and hatches it, it will be referenced during a tiding and the party will gain one of each resource.
