Crystalline is a theme that can be gained by a hero from the event Heart of Stone.

Shine on, you crazy diamond.

Theme conflicts

A Crystalline hero will not be eligible for any of these additional themes: Beartouched, Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Deepist Spy, Elmsoul, Flamesoul, Frogtouched, Gorgonoid, Mark of the Horn, Mortificial Enhancements, Shadow, Skeletal, Spell Touched, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

If a hero has any of these themes, it is not possible to also become Crystalline: Beartouched, Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Deepist Spy, Elmsoul, Flamesoul, Frogtouched, Gorgonoid, Mark of the Horn, Shadow, Skeletal, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

Without theme slot conflicts, a Crystalline hero is still eligible for any of these additional themes: Crowtouched, Drauven Wings, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings

Without theme slot conflicts, it is still possible for a hero with any of the following themes to also become Crystalline: Crowtouched, Drauven Wings, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mortificial Enhancements, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Spell Touched, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings

The following theme slots will be transformed on initial acquisition of the theme: Head (required to be available)

Theme Upgrade

Crystal Chrysalis

x damage, 2 shred

(Active) (Active) Once every three turns, Hero encases themself in impenetrable crystal. Next turn, they break out, dealing x-x damage and 2 shred to foes within x tile.

Damage: (2 to 5) + 1/2(Bonus Damage + Potency)
Range: 1.6 + 1/3 Potency

Note: to use this ability, it must be selected as a theme upgrade upon hero promotion.

Requires at least one Gem Arm or Leg for Crystal Chrysalis to appear as an upgrade selection.

The hero gains Gem Eye and their history will include:

After disturbing a mystical gem s/he ought not to have touched, <Hero's> body is being overgrown by a crystalline presence.

Changing the hero's primary color will change this theme's appearance. The "Knight" skin can be changed with both the primary and secondary colors.
