Dreamer's Crook is an artifact quality staff.
In-Game Description
The spellstrung head of this staff gives off a just-audible drone in sunlight, yet falls silent under moon and star. Then it stands straight and unsupported, as if to watch over the sleep of its wielder. There is a nameless mage, appearing in seldomsaid and tragic myths, who made strange deals with the creatures who walked his dreams. Perhaps, the firelight guess goes round, this would've belonged to him.
Specifics
Dreamer's Crook
Grants the ability Dreamstep, which can be used as a swift action to teleport to a free space adjacent to any interfused blaze or piece of scenery. Dreamstep does not have a cooldown or a limited number of uses per battle.
Acquisition
Obtained as random loot, typically after a combat encounter, certain events, or after carefully securing a location on the Overland map.
Trivia
The Dreamer's Crook was designed by LadTheFox for a contest on the Wildermyth Discord to create an artifact weapon.
