After a battle the party find a human trapped in a cage, who asks to join them.
Choices
1. "Revenge is a poor motivator. You should return home and make a life there."
Outcome Roll. A succesful outcome and the party step in quicksand. Temporary buff +1 speed in the next battle. A failure and the party step in... slowsand! Temporary penalty -1 speed in the next battle.
2. "Join us, and fight by our side."
Outcome Roll. A succesful outcome and the hero plus one other step in quicksand. Temporary buff +1 speed in the next battle. A failure and they step in... slowsand! Temporary penalty -1 speed in the next battle.
Trivia
This event occurs after a battle with drauven. If you recruit the NPC you will gain a new party member and lose 2 Legacy Points. If you don't have 2 LP, you'll just spend what you have; you cannot go below 0. You will not be able to choose their class.
