The party discover a wounded ox, with what looks like a seed embedded in its neck.
Choices
1. "I've got skilled fingers. Let me dislodge the seed."
Outcome Success: The party gains +2 temporary hitpoints and combat begins. The hero who removed the seed gains +5 retirement age.
Failure: The hero takes 2 damage and combat begins.
2. "Better to kill it now. Let it die with dignity, an ox at the last."
Outcome Begin combat with some Gorgons.
3. "Wait... I hear something... almost like it's speaking to me..."
Outcome Start the battle with Intimidation (all foes suffer 2 damage to start the mission).
Trivia
Option 1 targets the hero with the highest ranged accuracy. The retirement age bonus lasts for the current campaign.
Option 3 only appears if a hero in the party has the Wildheart or Dreamer hook.
