Nodes are locations in Omenroad campaigns and challenges. Unlike standard campaigns, in Omenroad, the company must stay together and may only move to a connected node farther to the right of the page. In challenge runs, there are twelve types of combat nodes and six types of non-combat nodes. Combat nodes can be standard fights, hard fights, or boss fights. Non-combat nodes offer a reward or some other benefit with no fight.

Standard Fight Nodes

Standard fight nodes have one main reward (a resource chest, a gear chest, an ability shrine, a forge, or a combat buff) and no shown secondary rewards (bonus secondary rewards not shown on the nodemap may still spawn).

Hard Fight Nodes

Hard fight nodes have either the reward of one of the main rewards of a standard fight node plus a secondary reward or a fancy gear chest. Nodes with a fancy gear chest do not offer known secondary rewards, although bonus rewards may still appear. The secondary reward may be a transformation shrine, a rescuable caged pet, a relationship shrine, a small resource chest, a small gear chest, or a Healingstone.

Boss Fight Nodes

There is one boss fight at the end of each page, with 20 possible bosses total.

Non-combat Nodes

The six types of non-combat nodes are a gear chest, a resource chest, a blacksmith, a campfire, calamity removal, and towns. Calamity removal nodes may only appear in the middle of a page, and blacksmith nodes cannot appear at the beginning of a page. All pages have a choice between a blacksmith node and a campfire node just before the boss node. Towns only only appear at the beginning of page 2 or 3 and only if a hero has died.
