One of the heroes makes one false step and falls into a hole.
I'm quick. I'll climb down and help them.
Outcome Success:The hero is easily rescued. Start the battle with Fortitude (All party members gain +1 temporary hitpoint).
Failure: The would-be rescuer begins combat with Wound (one party member loses half hit points to start combat).
Let's be methodical, safe. Tie together a rope, or something.
Outcome Begin combat as normal.
Or... maybe we leave them down there to act as bait?
Outcome Begin combat with Intimidation (all foes suffer 2 damage to start the mission) and Cunning (flanking attacks this combat deal +1 damage). The hero who was trapped doesn't show up in battle until turn 4.
