Author |
Douglas Austin |
Event type |
Arrive at hostile site |
One of the heroes makes one false step and falls into a hole (or is it a trap?).
Choices
1. "I'll climb down and help [name] up."
Outcome A successful roll means the hero is easily rescued. The hero has an idea to use the trap to their advantage in the upcoming battle. An unsuccessful roll means the rescuer has trouble escaping the hole.
2. "Let's take our time, tie off a rope, be safe and sure."
Outcome The hero is rescued.
3. "You may not like this, but... We could use him/her as bait to spring our own trap..."
Outcome Begin the assault. All heroes get a temporary bonus +2 damage and potency (for the duration of the battle only). The "trapped" hero does not join the battle until turn 4.
