A Hero wakes one of their companions for an urgent matter.
Choices
1. So in the middle of the night, they went. Where they went? Only <Hero> knew.
- 1.1 "There's gaps in my life. And a pain I've lived with, that I can't explain. I want to know why."
Outcome They challenge the guardian. Defeating him grants 1 Legacy point, and the following is added to the hero's history: There was a time they went on a journey to a mountain cave, and by the blue-glowing Pool of Revisions faced some of the old pain that tortured their memories. They emerged wiser, and afterwards, was more able to smile.
- 1.2 "Darkness covers some of my memories. This feeling... that I did something bad, long ago..."
Outcome They challenge the person waiting for them. Battle starts with Courage (all party members gain +2 damage/potency for 3 turns). Upon victory, a calamity card is removed, the hero gains +10 retirement age, and the following is added to the hero's history: There was a time, then, that they went on a journey to a mountain cave, and by the pink-glowing Pool of Reckoning, faced the truth of their origin.
