Choices

Outcome The hero takes a bolt to the face and gains a permanent eyepatch with no debuffs. Begin a battle with Morthagi. Afterwards, the following line is added to the hero's history:

An old rival goaded him into an ill-fated chase. It cost him an eye, but he won a fair amount of wisdom.

1.2 "Just hold on, I'll look for a way to disarm it!

Outcome The companion takes a bolt to the face and receives a scar. Begin a battle with Morthagi. Afterwards, the following line is added to the companion's history:

A scar served as a reminder that it is often unwise to involve oneself in the rivalry of others.

The following line is added to the hero's history:

Goaded into an ill-fated chase by an old rival, they watched another pay the price for their rashness, and came away sadder but wiser.

2. "Stop. Consider these letters: T-R-A-P."

Outcome Decline the opportunity.
