loose theories using what devs wrote in discord lore channel and what is found in the events itself. cross referencing different events to make one narrative to write a better lore article on each myth.
a lot of images for events. better not add them now and instead add them on finished articles.
lore pages on enemy forces already exist, better to mention information from these pages as supplementation.
should enemies be mentioned in a lore page? ulstryx and vulta seem to share a lot of lore on past civilizations that mention a great cold era. or large dislike on humans.
lore can mean different things, gods, myths, legends, monsters, places, civilizations. would need to collect a lot of information and gradually separate them over time. difficult to add concrete lore in most cases as they're very loose. best to mention all cases with images and then summarize it in the finished article.
gods mentioned in events are easier to write about as their functions are directly spelled out in events. guardians dont seem to share the same level as the gods as the majority of them ignore them.
how should a lore page be designed? gods and civilizations are completely different, split into different lore pages or give them all a section in a big lore page?
kyoren, thnarric, celestial and other myths have information scattered across different events. if each event is used to make each page would it dilute the content?
plane traveling is referenced repeatedly, by thrixl, sojourner weapon, an old mystic, the drauven dragon and even by the hero in the weird hook quest. instead of creating a narrative that they're connected its easier to make a different section for each of them and not strongly suggest a connection.
creatures
Drauven dragon: drauven ritual to get hawksoul wings. Image of a yellowish spirit appears in starswelter, inhabited and on thrixl banner. folklore about a hero turned into a dragon different from the physical dragon that shows up in the drauven story campaign due to the feathers missing from the dragon. dragon mentions 5 dragons with one dragon leaving the world, possibly a reference to the celestial spirit leaving the world?
theories: drauven dragon is a hawk because the ritual to this drauven dragon grants heroes hawksoul wings and not lizard wings without feathers.
the celestial dragon mentioned that left the world for the stars is the same drauven dragon.
possible correlation to the mystic that travels between worlds. possible correlation to the goddess urowei in the world inbetween.
story of a hero turning into a dragon could be true but it could possibly refer to a hero meeting the turtle in Turtles All The Way Down and turning into a giant hawk.
kyoren: shown in thrixl campaign. strongly suggested to have fought the thrixl with an old thrixl beast locked in a tower. shown to like writing down stories and infusing their souls into items. in the event one of the kyoren shows a shadow eye transformation, strongly suggesting a connection between inhabited and kyoren. mentioned in library of light as a writer. mentioned in thunder theme event as the one that made the thunder well. a weird sparkly spirit shows up in that thunder theme event.
celestial sparkly spirit: shows up in starstaff, starswelter, thunder theme, glittering pool that grants celestial, slaying the beartouched bear,
the starbook that leads to the celestial spring: The Heirloom Springshows a mystic carrying that book.
another celestial spirit appears in starswelter that looks different from the celestial sparkly spirit.
thnarric: out of the rain, shame hook opportunity quest, library of light mention thnarr. thnarric is also mentioned in discord lore channel but loose context by devs. will have to write more speculation due to sparse events involving thnarric.
oldwanes: mentioned as disliked sorcerers. skeleton theme is based on them. skeleton event mentions the last oldwane, meaning other oldwane have gone missing or died. no information given why oldwanes were persecuted. oldwane spirit turns into an deepist ox oddly enough in combat. a possible connection to deepists but no strong evidence besides the spirit turning into an ox.
possible design: pick all relative images to one myth inside a wikitable as well as a short description of the event and link
should i collapse it for viewing purposes? how to design it if there are more then one image per event? maybe make each section one big pile of text with relevant images and only certain myth's that span over multiple events use the wikitable?
