The Alternate

The Alternate (written by Jeremy Bernstein) is an event in Wildermyth. One of the heroes encounters their double in the woods.

Choices

Talk to the double "If you're really me, then maybe we can talk this out"
Run away "I need to get away from this thing. Now"
Challenge it to fight "I need to destroy it..."

Outcomes

If you talk to the double, you may be able to come to an understanding. You could hear about them again during years of peace.
