A Song for Someday Gone
Douglas Austin
Event type

A hero wants to leave the party in search of inspiration.

"1. No, it's beyond the horizon. That's what I do know."

1.1 "Well, there's been some run-ins out here. Stick by the fire. Maybe it's nothing."
1.2 "Only a fool waits in the open for lightning to strike..."

2. "...that actually does sound inspiring..."

Upon resolution of the opportunity, the following line is added to the hero's history:

When their inspiration ebbed to nothing, an adventure called them and they found a new beginning in old songs.

This opportunity targets a hero with the Creative hook.

This two-part event is a good example of dialogue varying greatly depending on the personality of the protagonist.
