Outcome Battle.
- 1.2 "Only a fool waits in the open for lightning to strike..."
Outcome Success: They leave the fire and spot the enemy entering their camp. Start the next battle with Cunning (flanking attacks this combat deal +2 damage). When the combat is resolved, gain +1 legacy point.
Failure: They return to the camp to find it looted. Start the battle with Disorder (walling provides no armor this combat). When the combat is resolved, lose -1 fabric.
2. "...that actually does sound inspiring..."
Outcome The opportunity is declined.
Trivia
Upon resolution of the opportunity, the following line is added to the hero's history:
When their inspiration ebbed to nothing, an adventure called them and they found a new beginning in old songs.
This opportunity targets a hero with the Creative hook.
This two-part event is a good example of dialogue varying greatly depending on the personality of the protagonist.
