As the heroes descend into the cave containing the Heart, one of them questions whether it was wrong for them to attack while the Enduring were wholly unprepared. As they reach the bottom, the first Enduring reveals that they were not unprepared, although they were expecting the Morthagi. He orders a large construct, War Ender, to attack the intruders.
