The party spends time in a village affected by a mysterious sickness. One Hero finds the origin of this in their dreams.
Choices
1. "Yes, we go. There is no solider thing than fate."
- 1.1 Ambush the Gorgon before it sees you.
Outcome Start a combat with a single Gorgon. The battle begins with Courage (all party members gain +2 damage/potency for 3 turns). Afterwards, one Gorgon calamity card is removed.
- 1.2 Make sure you destroy the altar first.
Outcome Start a combat with a single Gorgon. The battle starts with Intimidation (all foes suffer 2 damage to start the mission). Afterwards, one Gorgon calamity card is removed.
2. "Hold up... we can't go tonight. Look at the shape of the moon."
Outcome The opportunity is declined.
Trivia
This event is triggered by a hero with the Destiny hook.
Regardless of the choice, after the battle is resolved, the following is added to the hero's history:
They saved uncounted multitudes from a mystical illness, under the guiding hand of fate, and afterwards? They felt proud, less tethered, and more free.
