After an encounter one or more of your characters may gain enough experience to choose a new ability. These provide different skills, powers, perks, bonuses, and upgrades.
These are divided into:
- Warrior abilities can only be chosen by warriors. These abilities usually benefit close combat, or provide defensive bonuses for the party during an encounter. An example of a warrior ability is Battledance.
- Mystic abilities can only be chosen by mystics. This includes abilities related to interfusion. An example of a mystic ability is Elementalist
- Hunter abilities can only be chosen by hunters. These abilities usually benefit ranged combatAn example of a hunter ability is Ambush
- General abilities can be chosen by any class of hero, for example Endurance.
In-game
The player must pick one ability from a randomly-generated list of three choices.
