In-Game Description
(Active) Hero bonds with the earth, and summons from seedling and silt a wondrous tree that pins surrounding enemies.
Upgrade
Arches is changed from a turn-ending action to a single action
Specifics
The mystic creates a tree on the battle map and interfuses with it if they have an interfusion slot available.
- single action, ends turn, range 4.6
- The location must be clear space -- no orthogonally adjacent walls/scenery. Diagonal adjacency is fine.
- Enemies are pinned within
1.6 + Potency/3
tiles. This does not count as an attack for flanking, and does not break grayplane.- As of patch 1.0 hotfix 7, this is rolled as a melee attack, but this is likely a bug.
- The created tree gives Good cover and is Wood and a Tree for use with other interfusions.
Tips
- Creates an object to interfuse with even on an empty battlefield, so the Mystic cannot be shut out for lack of targets to work with.
- Combines well with Naturalist for Treecall support builds and with Elementalist for Splintersalvo builds.
- Valuable for shredding armor at high difficulty levels (using Splinterblast) in situations where Wood is not otherwise available.
