Beartouched is a theme that can be gained by a hero from the event Phantom of the Range.

<self> contains the soul of an old bear.

The hero gains Bear Tattoos and their history will include:

In slaying the bear's spirit, <Hero> him/herself took on the Essence of the Bear.

Changing the hero's hair color will change this theme's base appearance.

Secondary Theme Upgrade

Main article: Ursine Hunger

Ursine Hunger (Passive)<name> gains +0.2 health permanently for every enemy they slay with bear limbs, up to a maximum of 6 health. (Currently: +x)

Note: to use this ability, it must be selected as a theme upgrade upon hero promotion.

Requires at least one Bear Arm for Ursine Hunger to appear as an upgrade selection.

A Beartouched hero will not be eligible for any of these additional themes: Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Crystalline, Deepist Spy, Elmsoul, Flamesoul, Frogtouched, Gorgonoid, Mark of the Horn, Mortificial Enhancements, Shadow, Skeletal, Spell Touched, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

If a hero has any of these themes, it is not possible to also become Beartouched: Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Crystalline, Deepist Spy, Elmsoul, Flamesoul, Frogtouched, Gorgonoid, Mark of the Horn, Shadow, Skeletal, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

Without theme slot conflicts, a Beartouched hero is still eligible for any of these additional themes: Crowtouched, Drauven Wings, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings

Without theme slot conflicts, it is still possible for a hero with any of the following themes to also become Beartouched: Crowtouched, Drauven Wings, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mortificial Enhancements, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Spell Touched, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings
