Gorgonoid is a Theme that can be gained by a hero. Currently this is only available in the Age of Ulstryx campaign from the Rising Tide event.

Theme conflicts

A Gorgonoid hero will not be eligible for any of these additional themes: Beartouched, Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Crowtouched,Crystalline, Deepist Spy, Frogtouched, Mark of the Horn, Shadow, Skeletal, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

If a hero has any of these themes, it is not possible to also become Gorgonoid: Beartouched, Botanical, Celestial, Child of the Hills, Crowtouched,Crystalline, Deepist Spy, Flamesoul, Frogtouched, Mark of the Horn, Shadow, Skeletal, Sylvan, Vulture Acolyte, Wolftouched

Without theme slot conflicts, a Gorgonoid hero is still eligible for any of these additional themes: Drauven Wings, Elmsoul, Flamesoul, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mortificial Enhancements, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Spell Touched, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings

Without theme slot conflicts, it is still possible for a hero with any of the following themes to also become Gorgonoid: Drauven Wings, Elmsoul, Foxish, Frost, Hawksoul, Mortificial Enhancements, Mothly, Petrified, Ratlike, Scorpioid, Skunkish, Spell Touched, Stormtouched, Teeny Wings

Specifics

This transformation occurs after the final battle in Chapter 1 of the Age of Ulstryx campaign. The event targets the hero with Max Hothead score, who doesn’t already have a head slot theme.

The Gorgonoid Arms are unavailable.

Tips

• The Gorgonoid crust no longer prevents damage from Gorgon corruption trails as of patch 1.11+460 Firlow.

• The main downside of this transformation is that it blocks many other transformations which are generally more useful.
