Meteor Strike x magic damage (Active) <name> can summon a falling star that deals damage in an area at the start of their next turn. Damage: (5 to 8) + (Bonus Damage + Potency) |
Note: to use this ability, it must be selected as a theme upgrade upon hero promotion.
Specifics
- A hero must have at least one Celestial Arm for Meteor Strike to appear as an upgrade selection.
- Meteor Strike cannot stunt.
- Focus Range 5.6 + Long Reach
- Area of effect is a 5x5 square without the corner edges. Area is centered on the focus tile, so enemies farther away than 5.6 + Long Reach may be hit
- Has a hidden +20 accuracy bonus
- Enemies will attempt to avoid the target area, similarly to Guardian and fire.
- Can apply Blinding Attacks but not Poison or Crippling Strikes.
- Damage is increased by Lover's Vengeance but does not benefit from Vigorflow, Bloodrage, or Sharpshooter.
- Does not trigger Broadswipes
- Does not benefit from flanking, and only sets up flanking when the attack hits.
- Enemies do not benefit from cover bonuses from scenery.
